ABOUT ME

Hello There!

My name is Olga Akbarova and I'm a creative designer and illustrator based in San Jose, California. 

As a kid I loved colors and couldn't stop painting, it was magical to create my own whimsical worlds on paper. I studied fashion design, but my passion was illustration. I began freelancing in 2018 and since then I have illustrated countless greeting cards and patterns, designed puzzles and fabric collections. These days I mainly draw on my Ipad though I often incorporate watercolor hand painted elements and textures. I'm inspired by colors, California nature, coffee shops, vintage books and fabrics. I love making joyful, whimsical and detailed art!

When I'm not working, I'm most likely spending time with my family and friends. 

I sell my artwork in my Etsy store, and some of my images are also available to license and commission for publication, surface pattern and more.

My clients include Design House Greetings, Galison/ Mudpuppy, Garden Design Magazine, Diamond Art Club, P&B Textiles, True South Puzzle Co. and many more.
